I thought I would explain why your goods were damaged.
Purchased from Troostwijk (October 11, 2022), used items. (6 bar stools + 2 other items) At the time of unloading, the CMR indicated: "The chairs were damaged according to the driver's report, as the warehouse issued them."
The driver informed you as well that they were handed over in this condition, which can happen with used goods at this company (it has happened to you before). I asked you to confirm with the sender of the goods whether this statement is also true according to them.
I did not receive a response. Only when the next shipment occurred (January 12, 2023, three months later), and there were issues with the payment — reportedly "already transferred" and "will be transferred today" — and when I pointed out that the money (Br 142,000 or roughly €280 + VAT) had not arrived, it was revealed that the repair cost was 57,000 HUF.
I did not receive any photos or repair invoices concerning the damaged goods. Nonetheless, you have not paid the difference you claimed, despite multiple letters and phone calls!
Every truck we work with has CMR insurance (minimum €50,000), which exceeds the amount claimed by you but is not confirmed to cover the 57,000 HUF repair cost.

👎 WARNING!!! Payment discipline issues. There are about 4 companies (for whom I have worked) that have paid for 10-12 shipments properly, but there seems to be a problem with the management because one company owes us for over a year. Since then, I have not taken any further jobs from them.
